This policy explains what we collect when you use yooying.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. [Company legal name] is responsible for your data.
What we collect
Your email address, and the answers you give in the quiz: names, how to say them, memories and details about the person the song is for, and your choice of mood, style and voice.
Payment details go straight to Stripe, which processes the payment. We see whether it succeeded and the amount, never your card number.
Basic technical data, such as your IP address and browser, to keep the site secure. Small cookies remember your language and theme; a login cookie is used only by our team.
While you answer the quiz, your answers are saved in your own browser so you can pick up where you left off. They reach us when you continue to payment.
Why we use it
To write, produce and deliver your song, to send you emails about your order, and to answer your questions. We don’t sell your data.
If you start paying and don’t finish, we send one reminder to that address. It has an unsubscribe link, and we never send another.
Who helps us
Cloudflare hosts the site and sends our emails. Stripe processes payments. AI providers write the lyrics and record the music; we send them only what’s needed to make your song.
Advertising
We note which campaign link brought you here, such as utm_source, and keep it with your order.
Only if you allow ad cookies, Meta’s pixel measures which of our ads bring visitors and purchases. When you buy, we also send Meta a scrambled (hashed) email address, your IP address and browser, so it can match the purchase to an ad. Change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of each page.
How long we keep it
Unfinished quizzes are deleted after 90 days. We keep orders and songs so that your song page keeps working for at least five years, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
About the person the song is for
The quiz asks about someone else. We use those details only to make the song, and we never use them for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to hello@yooying.com; we answer within 30 days. If you’re in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Orders are for adults. Songs for children are welcome when an adult orders them.
Changes
When we change how we use data, for example by adding advertising tools, we update this page first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
